The purpose of the My Iowa State Experience project is to show that Campaign Iowa State is about more than funding, projection models, and pie charts.

The Experience is all about the life and times of ISU students and alumni; whether it's club activities, Cyclone athletics, hanging out with friends, soaking up the culture, academic life, or celebrating VEISHEA. Not only is My Iowa State Experience about students, it's also run by current students and alumni!

Now we want to hear about your experiences!

• 1st Place $500
• 2nd Place $250
• 3rd Place $100
• Viewers' Choice $100

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place videos will be chosen by our panel of celebrity judges who are grading the submissions based on three criteria;

1. Message: the video illustrates the Iowa State Experience
2. Creativity: the submission shows great creativity in presenting the message
3. Presentation: shows proper production techniques

The viewer's choice award will be chosen by ISU students, faculty & alumni via online voting between April 23, 2008 and noon on April 30, 2008. All winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on May 1, 2008 in the Jacobson Building (next to Jack Trice Stadium).

The videos must be mailed or dropped off at the Iowa State University Foundation.

Technical Specifications:

• 30 second video clips
• Videos must be submitted in flash video format (.FLV)
• Videos must be accompanied by entry form
• Entrants can either enter the competition individually or in groups.
• If groups are formed, no more than 4 people are allowed to enter per group (entrants will split prize amount)
• No more than 2 entries per person
• Only current ISU students and alumni are eligible for prizes
• All those who submit videos are invited to final screening awards ceremony
• No copyright music permitted; only royalty-free or original music allowed
• Entrants will be notified once their video(s) are uploaded to the site
• The project managers have the right to reject any submissions that are deemed inappropriate

• Hamilton Hall computer labs (basement)
• Communications Building
